• There is a global event introduced in the Lineage 2 - Chronicle 3: Rise of Darkness add-on, Seven Signs , which involves a clash of two opposing factions ( Revolutionary Army of Dusk and Lords of Dawn ) , the choice of belonging to one of which is made by each participant in each event cycle. True, this event is usually emasculated. It turns from a competition into a formality, with all active participants signing up for the same side. During the period of validity of the seals, the winning party receives benefits, the losing party receives fines. However, it has an important impact on the game economy due to the fact that the second most important currency can be considered the so-called Ancient Adena  (ancient adena , “aa”), obtained through participation in the “Seven Seals”. For ancient adena, the victorious side that has captured the necessary seals is able to improve its equipment from a special NPC “ Blacksmith of Mammon ” and purchase rare items from the “Merchant of Mammon ” .

Story

• From the chronicles of Aden, stories have been preserved about the gods, about the creation of the world, and about its destruction. This is how the legend about the fall of the younger goddess, the water goddess Shillen, has come down to us. Nowadays she is the goddess of the dark moon, forgotten by everyone except her children. Few people remember that the Wood Elves were created by Shillen. The Wood Elves themselves prefer to worship their successor, the younger goddess Eva. And only the Dark Elves remain faithful to their foremother.
• The story of the fall of Shillen is very well described in the Chronicles of Chaos, and I will not recount it in full here. However, it is worth noting that these chronicles missed the most important thing - how Shillen was able to escape from the wrath of Einhasad. Or were they deliberately kept silent so that many would not have the desire to again plunge the world into the abyss of Chaos? But it doesn't matter now. The secret has been revealed, now everyone needs to know about it, otherwise the onset of Chaos is inevitable.
• The Chronicles of Chaos only mention that Shillen devoted her last strength not to saving her children - the dragons, but to creating a protective barrier that divided the continent of Aden. The part of it that is now known as the kingdom of Aden was a scorched piece of land. The eastern part, where Shillen remained, remained untouched by Einhasad's wrath.
• No one knows what kind of spell it was, but even Einhasad herself could not break through the barrier created. In an attempt to find even the slightest weakness, Einhasad spent several days using the most terrible spells, which turned the once flourishing Aden into a pile of earth covered with ash. The few survivors fled to the west. The surviving dragons - the most evil, cunning and treacherous - hid in the deepest caves.
• Shillen's joy was short-lived that she managed to escape Einhasad's revenge. She found herself imprisoned by her own spell. Although historians disagree here, some believe that Shillen could not have created such a spell alone, and this could not have happened without the help of Gran Kain. Others suggest that the eldest daughter was far superior in strength to her mother, and this was the true reason for Einhasad's anger. But both opinions are heretical, and very quickly supporters of both movements agreed that Einhasad was shocked by her daughter’s betrayal.
• One way or another, salvation became a trap for Shillen. While trying to break her own spell, she realized that only all seven gods, including Einhasad and Gran Kain, could do it. As it turns out, only magical creatures cannot penetrate the barrier, but it is permeable to living beings. Over the centuries of her forced imprisonment, Shillen created the Seven Seals, each of which must be invested by one of the gods. 6 emissaries of Shillen were sent to Aden - each had to arrive at the temple of one of the gods and pray for the favor of the gods. The Seventh Seal, with the power of Shillen herself, remained behind the barrier, waiting in the wings.
• Everything went quite well, and all the younger gods gave their consent, although obviously not without the help of Gran Kain. But the most amazing thing was that Einhasad also put her power into the Seal. The reasons for her action are unknown to us, but the fact remains a fact. However... On the way to the east, a caravan with emissaries was attacked. The attack was repelled, but the Seals disappeared without a trace. And although artifacts filled with the power of the gods can be noticed by any magician many kilometers away, the loss was never found.
• Despite the fact that any Seal itself was capable of granting its owner unprecedented abilities, for hundreds of years, no one took advantage of them. During this time, a lot happened. Kingdoms came and went. A series of wars gave way to periods of prosperity. But no trace of the Seals. They were first forgotten, then a new church reform completely eradicated any mention of them, as compromising the impeccability of Einhasad. Some of this information still remained intact in the caches of our Aden Researchers Guild - an underground organization engaged in collecting truthful information about the past and present of Aden.
• Shillen, who was in captivity, initially resigned herself to the course of things. Then came despair and the understanding that the Seals had obviously disappeared with the help of Einhasad. Anger flared up with renewed vigor. Old grievances were remembered. And plans for revenge... Every day Shillen's anger only grew. Many still remember the time of Chaos that reigned over Aden. A gaping wound on the body of the kingdom - Wasteland - a sullen reminder of the wrath and power of the gods.
• And just recently, three of the six Seals that had disappeared without a trace reappeared on the mainland of Aden. Where they came from, where they were all this time, and where the remaining three are will remain a mystery. But the understanding that the time has come when the Seals will be used only darkens the future. The knowledge that the three seals found are filled with the power of the lesser gods - Pa'agrio, Eva and Seihe - gives faint hope that the most powerful Seals will not be found for a long time, delaying the possibility of Shillen's release.
• Those who were born now were born in troubled times, a time of change and great achievements. Even those who have always been neutral must choose a side. Fight for possession of the Seals in order to use their power, bringing Chaos and Destruction into the world, or free Shillen and plunge the world into even greater Chaos and Destruction? We cannot allow either one or the other, but we have no choice.

Event cycle

• The event has a cyclical structure, equal in time to two weeks. Each cycle begins every two weeks on Monday at 18:00. The cycle is also divided into two stages - the period of Struggle and the period of Victory, 1 week for each of them:
  • The first week is the period of Struggle . During the first period, you can register for the event; after registration, you can freely visit necropolises and catacombs regardless of the side you choose.  
  • The second week is the period of Victory . During this week, the losing side is actually completely cut off from the 7 seals. Only the winning party has access to the catacombs and necropolises. Bonuses of activated seals begin to take effect, such as: the Blacksmith and Merchant of Mammon, ghosts in cities, monsters in dungeons change slightly, from which seal stones fall, castle owners rejoice when the 3rd seal is activated, event RBs appear in dungeons - Lilith (Lilith ) (80 level) or Anakim (Anakim) (80 level) , depending on who won.       
• Between the period of Struggle and the period of Victory (week 2 of the event, Monday) there is a gap of 15 minutes (from 18:00 to 18:15), which is called Collection of Results. In this interval, essentially nothing happens. It simply does what the name suggests - collecting and counting results. You can no longer influence the distribution of points between the parties in any way, and at the same time, the attributes of the Victory period have not yet appeared.
• You can also find out what period it is now using a world map. In the lower left corner you will see the word “State:” and a description of what stage the event is in:
  • Condition: Event period - corresponds to the Struggle period .  
  • Condition: Collection of results - the threshold of the Victory period , lasts from 18:00 to 18:15.  
  • Condition: The validity period of the Seal corresponds to the Victory period .  

Registration

• Players who want to take part in the fight for the Seals must join one of the parties: the Revolutionary Army of Dusk ( Dusk ) and the Lords of Dawn ( Dawn ) for the duration of the event. Once you have chosen a side, you will not be able to change or refuse participation until the start of the next cycle. After choosing a side, you must select the Seal for which you will fight; there are three seals available: Seal of Avarice , Seal of Gnosis , Seal of Strife. You can register with the Priests of Dawn or Priests of Dusk in any locality except the starting villages.       
  • Players who did not receive their first profession:
    • They cannot register to compete for the Seven Seals.
  • Players who received the first profession, but did not receive the second:
    • They can register freely for any side.
  • Players who received a second profession:
    • Registration for the side of the Lords of Dawn
      • You can register in any city with Priest of Dawn .  
      • Players from clans and alliances that own castles can register for free.
      • Players who are not members of clans that own castles, or who are not members of clans at all , can choose to side with the Lords of the Dawn for a nominal fee of 50,000 Adena  . Also during the Struggle period, Castle Lords can purchase a 300 Lord of the Manor's Certificate of Approval  from the Chamberlain , allowing players who receive such a certificate to join the Lords of the Dawn for free, without being a member of the clan or alliance that owns the castle. .      
    • Registration for the Revolutionary Army of Sunset
      • You can register in any city with Priest of Dusk .  
      • Only players who are not members of clans, or members of clans that do not own castles, can register for the Revolutionary Army of Sunset. Registration is free.

What to do during the Struggle?

• During the fight for the Seals (the first week of the event), players registered for different sides can hunt monsters in the Catacomb and Necropolis and take part in the Festival of Darkness .       
• In order not to miss the choice of side and seal, you can for 500 Adena  (Adena) buy from any priest the Record of Seven Signs  , which details the state of the 7 seals at the moment, the number of points for each side and similar useful things .       

Useful quests

• While in the Catacombs or Necropolises, in addition to the usual filling of Seal Stones, it makes sense to take 2 quests - one to obtain the Dimensional Fragment  (Particle of the Fracture) , necessary to get into the Dimensional Rift (Rift Between Worlds); the second is to obtain Blank Scroll  , necessary for purchasing certain goods from the Merchant of Mammon :         
  • In Search of Fragments of Dimension  - talk to the Dimensional Gate Keeper inside any Catacombs or Necropolises to accept the quest. Dimensional Fragment will drop from all monsters whose prefixes contain the words Lookout , Watcher , Guard , Monk , Overlord , Shaman , Consul , Inquisitor , Guardian , Wiseman , Court Guard and Preacher (that is, from all aggressive and social monsters). Monsters whose prefixes contain the words Nephilim , Lilim , Gigant and Lilith do not drop fragments (that is, just those from which Seal Stones should fall).                         
  • Yoke of the Past  - Talk to Gatekeeper Ziggurat before entering any Catacombs or Necropolises to accept the quest. Scroll of Ancient Magic  will drop from all monsters whose prefixes contain the words Watchman , Watcher , Sentinel , Monk , Overlord , Priest , Archon , Inquistor , Guardian , Elder , Royal Guard , Preacher . To get a Blank Scroll  you will need to talk to Gatekeeper Ziggurat , and he will exchange Scroll of Ancient Magic for Blank Scroll at a rate of 1 to 1.                          

Collecting Seal Stones

• One way to earn points for your side is by collecting Seal Stones. To do this, you need to hunt monsters in the Catacombs and Necropolises. Monsters that you can get Seal Stones for killing have the prefixes Gigant , Lilim and Nephilim in their names . Seal Stones must be handed over to the Priests of Dawn and Dusk in order to earn points.

Teleportation

• During the period of the Struggle, you can teleport to both the Catacombs and Necropolises from the Priests of either side for Ancient  Adena .   
• During the Victory Period, only players of the winning side can teleport and only if the winning side has the Seal of Gnosis .     

Participation in the Festival of Darkness

• Festival of Darkness  - Festival of Darkness is a competition where your group must endure 18 minutes of fighting monsters in a special dungeon:
  • Oracle of Dawn  - for those who joined the Lords of Dawn.
  • Oracle of Dusk  - for those who joined the Army of Dusk.

Summarizing

• From 18:00 to 18:15 on Monday of the second week of the event (that is, just at the moment when the Fight period ends and the Victory period begins), the number of points earned by each side is calculated. The score is made up of points received for surrendering Seal Stones and points received for participating in the Festival of Darkness.

What to do during the Victory period?

Obtaining Ancient Addena (Ancient Adena)

• After summing up the results, the winning side can receive Ancient Adena from the Priests of Dawn/Dusk, depending on how many and what kind of stones they handed over (if any) during the Struggle. If your side lost, you can get your Ancient Adena in one of the following cycles if it wins. It will also be possible to exchange Seal Stones for Ancient Adena already during the Victory period, if you did not hand over the stones during the Struggle period, or obtained more stones during the Victory period.

• Regardless of what period you handed over the stones, during the period of Struggle or during the period of Victory, the reward in the form of Ancient Adena for them will be the same.
  • If your chosen side loses, you will not be able to hand over the Seal Stones until the start of the next cycle, so it makes sense to hand over the Stones during the Struggle period (if you are, of course, sure that victory for your side is already assured), otherwise you will only be able to get Ancient Adena for the Stones you handed over in the next cycle, in the Victory period, if your side wins.
  • If you turned in Seal Stones during the Struggle period, but your side lost, then when you register for the other side in the next cycle, your Ancient  Adena reward will be burned.    

Purchasing Items

• The winning side will be able to buy special items for Ancient Adena  from the Priests of their side. The list of goods on both sides is the same:

Effect of Seals

• Each of the three available Seals has its own bonuses. However, in order for these bonuses to take effect - i.e. In order for the seal to be activated, at least 35% of the participants must vote for it on the winning side. However, if one of the parties wins 2 or more times, then at least 10% is needed to maintain control of the Seal. Example:

1. The Lords of Dawn won in the first cycle of the Seven Seals, and activated the 1st and 2nd seals, while the 3rd remained inactive (35% on the 1st, 35% on the 2nd, and on the 3rd There aren’t enough people anyway). If Dawn wins in the second cycle (that is, it is already 4 weeks - 2 cycles), voting for the same seals (again 35% for the 1st, 35% for the 2nd, not enough for the 3rd) then for the third cycle (Monday of the 5th week) to activate any of the seals that won in the previous cycle (in our example these are the 1st and 2nd seals) you will need only 10% (10% for the 1st, 10% for the 2nd, 35% on the 3rd). Thus, if the Dawn wins again, on Monday of the 6th week (the beginning of the Victory period of the 3rd cycle) all 3 seals will be activated. PROFIT well.
   • The same applies for example, if Dawn all 2 cycles voted for only one of the seals, then on the 3rd cycle they will still be able to activate all 3 seals (35% + 35% + 10% = all 3 seals win and will act during the Victory period of the 3rd cycle) if they defeat him.   
2. The Lords of Dawn won the first and second cycles of the event, but the Army of Dusk won in the third cycle . This means that Dusk will have to reach 35% in order for the seal (or 2 seals, as it turns out or wants) to be activated in the third cycle. If in this case Dusk also wins the next, 4th cycle, then during the Struggle period they will need 10% for the one (or those) of the seals that they won in the previous cycle.     

1) Seal of Avarice (Seal of Greed)

• The party holding the Seal receives exclusive access to the Necropolis .  
  • Please note that if only this seal is activated, access will ONLY be granted to the Necropolis.   
• Event monsters with a drop of seal stones appear in Necropolises.
• The Merchant of Mammon appears in the Necropolises . The merchant changes his location, randomly moving between Necropolises every 30 minutes.   
• In Disciples Necropolis , the Raid-Boss Lilith (Lilith) (80 lvl.) (if the Lords of Dawn ( Dawn ) are defeated) or Anakim (Anakim) (Lvl. 80) (if the Army of Dusk ( Dusk ) is defeated) appears.         

2) Seal of Gnosis (Seal of Knowledge)

• The party holding the Seal receives exclusive access to the Catacombs .  
  • Please note that if only this seal is activated, access will ONLY be granted to the Catacombs.   
• The party holding the Seal gets the opportunity to teleport from the Priests to dungeons located in the territories of the city in which the Priest is located using  Ancient Adena .   
• Blacksmith of Mammon appears in the Catacombs . The blacksmith changes his location, randomly moving between the Catacombs every 30 minutes.   
• An Orator of Revelations appears in all cities (except the starting villages) , which imposes positive effects on the members of the winning side.   
• A Preacher of Doom appears in all cities (except the starting villages) , which imposes negative effects on the participants of the losing side .  
  • Buffs/debuffs will last for 20 minutes, or until the character dies. They will throw these effects at you all week, until the end of the Victory period on Monday 15:45.

3) Seal of Strife

• The Seal is held by the Lords of the Dawn
  • The winning side's maximum CP increases by 10%, and the losing side's maximum CP decreases by 10%.
  • Elite Mercenaries of Dawn can be hired to defend the castle , in addition to ordinary mercenaries.   
  • The cost of improving the protective properties of castle walls and gates is slightly reduced.
  • The protective properties of gates and castle walls are slightly increased.
  • The maximum tax that can be set on Land is 25%.
  • Since the Lineage 2 - Interlude update , during a siege, supporters of the Revolutionary Army of the Dawn ( Dusk ) cannot use siege equipment (Siege Golem, etc.) if the seal is owned by the Lords of Dawn ( Dawn ).   
• The seal is owned by the Revolutionary Army of the Sunset ( Dusk)
  • The winning side's maximum CP increases by 10%, and the losing side's maximum CP decreases by 10%.
  • Only the weakest mercenaries can be hired to defend the castle.
  • The cost of improving the protective properties of castle walls and gates increases greatly.
  • The protective properties of gates and castle walls are greatly reduced.

Black Marketeer, Blacksmith and Trader of Mammon

• Now let's talk about such a useful thing as Mammon. I want to start with Mammon, which actually does not depend on the 7 seals, although it is part of this event. Found in all cities (except starting villages) in secluded places all year round without breaks for lunch. This is the Black Marketeer of Mammon. Members of either party can communicate with him at any time. Here are the services that Black Marketeer offers:
  • Removing SA from your weapon for Ancient  Adena .   
  • Sale of the Book Ancient Book - Divine Inspiration (Modern Language Version)  (Book of the Ancients - Divine Inspiration (Modern Language)) .   
  • Exchange Ancient Adena  for Adena at a rate of 1 to 1 (for 1 ancient adena you will receive 1 adena)  .      
  • Exchange Adena for  Ancient Adena at a rate  of 4 to 1 (for 4 adena you will receive 1 ancient adena).       
    • This exchange (Adena for ancient Adena) can only be made by Characters who have reached level 60.
    • In one day, a character can receive a maximum of 500,000  Ancient Adena .    
    • Exchange is available every day from 20:00 to 24:00.
• Unlike the Kotrabandist, whose services are always available, the presence of a Merchant and a Blacksmith in dungeons depends on seals (the corresponding seal is activated or not), and the range of their services is much larger and even, so to speak, more necessary.
