Coins of Magic — Farming Quest L2 Interlude

   Krok 1

   Head to the 3rd floor of Ivory Tower and talk to Wivien to accept Coins of Magic. Your character must be at least level 60 or the dialog line simply will not appear. Take the quest and read the mob list carefully — there are around a dozen valid targets scattered across several zones. Keep the quest active the whole time you farm; if you accidentally abandon it, Ancient Coins will stop dropping.

   Krok 2

   Now it is pure farm. The main hotspots are Forest of Mirrors (Grandis, Karul Bugbear), Cruma Tower (Dark Lord), Ivory Tower Crater (Cave Ant Soldier), Forbidden Gateway and Cemetery (Pronghorn, Kranrot, Timak Orc Overlord). Match the spot to your setup: solo nukers usually pick Crater or Cruma, while a party with a tank and healer clears Forest of Mirrors or the Timak camp much faster and with a denser spawn. Ancient Coin drop rate is not high, so plan for a long session instead of two lazy laps.
3. 3

   Krok 3

   Once you have a decent stack, return to Wivien and open the exchange dialog. There are several reward tiers: small piles give Adena, while big stacks unlock recipes, keys, books and other useful goodies. Always exchange coins in large batches — the conversion rate is much better than turning them in one by one. The quest does not disappear after the exchange, so you can go straight back to grinding.
