Alliance with Ketra Orcs — Reputation & Rewards
Alliance with the Ketra Orcs is a repeatable level 74+ quest from Interlude that grows your reputation with the Ketra Orc Outpost faction. It's a classic farm quest: you kill the opposing Varka Silenos faction, hand their badges to Ketra's Messenger Wahkan, and step your alliance level up one tier at a time. Each new tier unlocks more perks — access to the Ketra shop, permission to farm their raid bosses, and further quests down the chain. Expect several days of grind whether you go solo or in a party. Both work.

Krok 1
Teleport from Goddard to the Ketra Orc Outpost and find Ketra's Messenger Wahkan. Accept the quest to declare your side. From that second on, do NOT touch a single Ketra Orc — one accidental hit resets your alliance progress. -

Krok 2
For Alliance Level 1, head into Varka Silenos territory and grind Varka Silenos Recruit, Footman, Scout, Hunter, and Shaman until you have 100 Varka's Badge - Soldier. Drop rate is fair but not instant — budget a couple of hours depending on your class and AoE potential. -

Krok 3
Return to Wahkan and hand in the badges to reach Alliance Level 1. The rule that trips up most newcomers: no attacks on Ketra Orcs, ever, for the entire quest chain. Misclick or accidental aggro means starting over from zero. -

Krok 4
Alliance Level 2 asks for more: 200 Varka's Badge - Soldier and 100 Varka's Badge - Captain. Captains drop from higher-rank Varka Silenos, so push deeper into their zone. Time investment is longer than Level 1 but the loop is identical — just tankier mobs and more of them. -

Krok 5
Alliance Level 3 is the last verified tier: 300 Varka's Badge - Soldier, 200 Varka's Badge - Captain, and 100 Varka's Badge - General. Generals come from the elite Varka Silenos variants. Turn in badges to Wahkan as you accumulate them and pick up Level 3 — this unlocks the Ketra shop and raid access.

What's the real comfortable starting level?
Formally 74+, but 76-78 is much smoother, especially once you're chasing Captain and General badges for Levels 2 and 3.
Can I farm Ketra and Varka alliances at the same time?
No. Killing any Ketra Orc wipes your Ketra alliance — commit to one side.
What if I accidentally hit a Ketra Orc?
You reset. Grind the badges again from scratch and re-hand them to Wahkan.
What does max alliance level actually give me?
Full access to the Ketra Orc shop, permission to farm their raid bosses, and the ability to take the follow-up quests in the chain, including economic ones.
Is this quest solo-friendly?
Level 1 is comfortable solo. From Level 2 onward, a party is faster because of elite mob density and hand-in cadence.
