Formal Wear Quest L2 Interlude
Please Make Me Formal Wear is a classic Interlude side quest that unlocks the cosmetic Formal Wear outfit — a prerequisite for the wedding system. There are no combat stats attached; it's purely a paperdoll costume. Expect a lot of travel between Town of Aden and the Hot Springs area, plus four sub-quests. Budget 45-90 minutes if you know where each NPC stands.

Step-by-step walkthrough

Step 1
Start at Trader Alexis in the Aden Accessory Shop. He won't tailor anything himself — he just points you at Maid Leikar. Finish his dialogue fully, otherwise the next NPC in the chain won't acknowledge you. -

Step 2
Head to Maid Leikar near the gun shop in Aden. She hands you a Signet Ring, which is your proof of employment for the rest of the chain. Do not drop it or sell it — it's a quest item and it gates every follow-up handoff. -

Step 3
Teleport to the Hot Springs. Visit Chef Jeremy at the tent to receive a Cookies Box, then deliver Luxury Wine to Information Broker Mist in the same area. Doing both on one trip saves you a teleport. -

Step 4
Complete the three sub-quests in any order: In Search of Cloth (yields Mysterious Cloth), Find Glittering Jewelry (Jewel Box) and Make a Sewing Kit (Sewing Kit). The exact mobs and drop spots aren't itemized in the base facts — grab the details from each sub-quest starter NPC and bring a party if you're unsure about the mob level. -

Step 5
Run the Make a Pair of Dress Shoes sub-quest with Trader Woodley at the Armor and Weapons Shop. He returns a Dress Shoe Box, the fourth crafting component of the outfit. -

Step 6
Return to Maid Leikar in Aden with every item: Signet Ring, Cookies Box, Mysterious Cloth, Jewel Box, Sewing Kit and Dress Shoe Box. She assembles the outfit and hands over the finished Formal Wear, closing the quest.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a level requirement?
No confirmed hard level gate on the quest itself. Your practical floor comes from the mobs inside the sub-quests, not from a dialogue check.
Does Formal Wear give any stats or buffs?
None. It's a cosmetic outfit only, used to satisfy the wedding system requirement.
Can I get married without doing this quest?
No. Formal Wear is a mandatory prerequisite. On top of it you'll still need 25,000,000 Adena and an engaged partner, with the ceremony handled by Wedding Priest Andromeda at Hot Springs Guild House.
Can I farm the Formal Wear on an alt and trade it?
No. The quest is not repeatable per character and the outfit is bound, so it can't be traded or sold.
