Sub-class Quest (Mimir's Elixir)

Step-by-step walkthrough

1. 1

   Step 1

   Teleport to Ivory Tower and head up to the 3rd floor to Ladd. Talk to him — he kicks off the quest chain and points you to the next NPC. No items needed here, just click through the dialog. Make sure your character is 75+ and already has 3rd class transfer, otherwise Ladd won't hand out the quest.
2. 2

   Step 2

   Next teleport to Aden and find Head Blacksmith Ferris inside the blacksmith shop in Aden Castle Town. He's marked on the town map with a hammer icon. He'll just forward you further along the chain, so read and move on. Good moment to stock up on shots, potions, and any pots you might need for the grind.
3. 3

   Step 3

   Now head to Hardin's Private Academy and speak with Magister Gauri Twinklerock. The academy sits northeast of Oren — open the map if you don't remember the way. Gauri gives you a shopping list: Moonstone Shard and Blood of Eva. He's also the turn-in NPC for those materials, so remember his spot.
4. 4

   Step 4

   Roll out to the Wastelands southwest of Aden and farm Road Scavenger and Road Collector for Moonstone Shard. The mobs are around 75, so mages and archers will clear them fast, melee takes a bit longer. Drop rate is mid-tier — expect 20-40 kills on official rates. The spot is usually empty, so no competition for the camp.
5. 5

   Step 5

   Move to the Plains of the Lizardmen and hunt Silenos and Silenos Warrior for Blood of Eva. This zone is more crowded because people farm here for adena and other quests. The mobs hit harder than the Wastelands crowd, so if you're squishy keep the distance and use pots. Drop rate is roughly the same order as step 4.
6. 6

   Step 6

   Head back to Gauri, turn in both materials, and receive Star of Destiny. Fly back to Ivory Tower and hand Star of Destiny to Ladd to close the quest. Once it's done, the subclass function is permanently unlocked on your char — you can now visit any Grand Master (Hanellin, Bright, etc.) to actually add a subclass.
