Gather the Flames — Adena Farm Quest
Gather the Flames is a repeatable Interlude farm quest for characters level 74-80. The payoff is an S-grade weapon recipe, so people grind it not for adena but for a stable source of top-tier weapon recipes. Everything happens in one spot — Forge of the Gods, lower level. Expect 2-4 hours per run depending on your party setup and the pull rate. It works nicely as a background objective while you level from 74 to 80.

Paso 1
Head down to Forge of the Gods (lower level) and pick up the quest from Blacksmith Vulcan. If you want to choose your exact recipe, look for the wandering Blacksmith Rooney instead — he offers a picked reward but charges more Torches. -

Paso 2
Start killing the Forge of the Gods monsters. They drop the quest item Torch. This is not a friendly zone for a fresh 74 solo — bring a party or at least a duo with an AoE class and a healer to make the farm smooth. -

Paso 3
Stack Torches until you hit the required count: 1000 for Vulcan or 1200 for Rooney. Keep an eye on your inventory weight — Torches pile up fast and you still want room for regular mob drops. -

Paso 4
Turn the Torches in. Vulcan hands out a random S-grade weapon recipe — whatever RNG gives you. Rooney lets you pick the recipe you want, which is why he charges 200 more Torches. The quest is repeatable, so re-accept it and head straight back to the same spot.

Vulcan or Rooney — who should I use?
Vulcan if you are fine with a random recipe and want the cheaper 1000-Torch tag. Rooney if you need a specific S-grade recipe for your class and are willing to farm the extra 200 Torches.
Can I solo the quest?
Technically yes, but Forge of the Gods at 74-80 punishes solo pulls. A small party with a healer clears it several times faster and safer.
Is the quest repeatable?
Yes. Complete it, take it again from the same blacksmith, and continue farming. It is one of the most reliable S-grade recipe sources in Interlude.
How long does one run take?
Roughly 2 to 4 hours per 1000-1200 Torches, depending on party composition and how contested the spot is when you arrive.
