Valakas Quest — Into the Flame
This is the access chain for one of Interlude's most iconic epic raids — Valakas' Lair. You cannot walk in without a Floating Stone, and the only way to get one is to run this Klein → Hilda → Klein loop. Level requirement is 76+, and the whole chain is repeatable because you burn a fresh Floating Stone every time you enter. Realistically the quest itself takes 1–2 hours, and most of that time is spent farming 50 Vacualite Ore in the Forge of the Gods. The Valakas fight itself is a full-alliance affair — this quest just gets you in the door.

Krok 1
Head to the Forge of the Gods and talk to Klein. He kicks off the chain and points you toward Goddard. -

Krok 2
Travel to Goddard and speak with Blacksmith Hilda. She'll explain she needs raw ore from the same area you just came from. -

Krok 3
Go back to the Forge of the Gods and hunt monsters until you have 50 Vacualite Ore. Solo is slow — bring a party, the mobs there hit hard anyway. -

Krok 4
Return to Hilda in Goddard with the full 50 Vacualite Ore. She takes the raw ore and hands you refined Vacualite. -

Krok 5
Bring the Vacualite back to Klein in the Forge of the Gods. He turns it into your Floating Stone — that's your key into the lair. -

Krok 6
From there, head deep into the Hall of Flames, find the designated crystal, and use the Floating Stone on it to open the portal into Valakas' Lair.

76+ officially, but 78+ with a party is the realistic recommendation because the Forge of the Gods mobs are tough.
